Use a combination of the keyboard and mouse to move your character and the camera. Use WASD or the arrow keys to move and rotate your character. Strafe left and right with the Q and E keys.

Hold down the right mouse button to turn your character. Hold down the left mouse button to revolve the camera around your character. Hold down both mouse buttons to run forward and turn your character simulaneously. Use the scroll wheel to change the camera's zoom. Zoom in completely to play from the first-person perspective.
